Custom of the Month

Hey guys, sorry for the lack of communication of late. I'm slowly getting everything back into shape, the big crash coincided with me moving house. I have a few ideas about the future and am still keen to discuss exclusives and mods, just bear with me please.

I had one thought though, instead of having Custom of the Month as submissions-driven, would it make more sense for everything submitted to the forum that month be automatically entered? My reason being that CotM often flags under a lack of submissions, but we've always had a healthy input of new customs regardless. I know that I unearthed a few ancient customs just to keep the ball rolling at times.

What do you think? A good idea or would it prove unpopular or unfeasible?

Personally I think stick with the old format. I've not been able to lay my hands on much in the way of Palitoy spares of late so not had much to offer up. I do like to see some of the new submissions. Maybe..... have a custom/photo of the month? That might garner more interest, all the VAM site just have photo of the month and they often incorporate customs. I know Ed might nail it quite often, but what the hell?

Keep as is I would say.
Invite those posting customs in the usual section to enter cotm

Some people don't like competing. It would be wrong to "force" the to. Keep it as is, imo.

Fair enough, but the issue of poor submissions rates needs addressing. I could offer crap prizes? I have a pile of unwanted Q Force and Space Force figures! Or the BAF comics on a disc?

Any prize would be great mate and I have a couple of ready made customs I could donate for some. Maybe bi monthly is the best way as sometimes I know myself I can't always get one a month finished.

I've nearly finished a custom I want to submit but having probs sourcing a sticker I need.
