New Dalek design..
After seeing the last episode of Dr Who, I've gotta say I'm not very impressed with the design & look of the new Rainbow Daleks...but I want a action figure of one of 'em in that green Iron-sides colour scheme with W.W.2 style webbing
what are the chances of it happening?

More news, as its made, from new Action Force!

Re: New Dalek design..
my green dalek is drying as we speak, started it last night anbd am using one of my small rc daleks as the base. just got to find some webbing the right size...
have to say the new daleks are growing on me. they look like the movie daleks without the bad bits. think ill like them more when we see armies of one colour controlled by the multicoloured ones... if that happens?

Danny boy this is Broadsword!
Some things are better left alone, that little nod is one of them.
Not to sure on the new daleks, were they a bit taller than normal?

Re: New Dalek design..
the new Daleks are indeed taller, they said in Confidential this partly so they're now at a height closer to Karen Gillen's 6' than the shorter Billie Piper.
Moff also mentioned possibly seeing a group of all-red 'Drones' in the future. although i'm mystified as to how this would be possible since they were saying the Ironsides pair and the gold one were all that were left after Journey's End and they got disintegrated... and given the Supreme's ruling the others were impure, i can't see them creating more...
liked them.

I was pleased to see Ray Cusick's and Terry Nation's oldschool colour-schemes revived, (colour determined by function).

Re: New Dalek design..
I've been hating on the new Teletubbie Daleks all day. They look pathetic. I can get over the oldschool colours just about (though the yellow one should be a coward Dalek), it's just the Fisher Price design that looks so retarded. They look fat, pin headed, dumbed down arseholes.
Making them bigger doesn't make them more scarey. Quite the opposite if you ask me.

There was f*ck all wrong with the old design. Changing them is just more wanking by the new guys at the helm and it utterly sucks imo.
It's not Hollywood, Moffat. Leave the f*cking things alone you prat.
Gatiss said the Teletubbie Daleks remind him of Minis. He said he wants to get in one and drive about. Fool. They are supposed to be the most evil creatures in the galaxy, not some bimbo's car.

Re: New Dalek design..
Not too keen on the new design overall - the hunchback is a bit odd, but I thought the new eye stalk was quite nice.
Despite the apparent disintegration of the last 3 original new series Daleks, I'm sure someone will come up with a way of bringing them back at some point. Davros I'm sure is out there somewhere, although how he escaped from the final episode of series 4 we have no idea.
I liked the idea of the WWII styled green Daleks, but on balance I wasn't sure why they really needed webbing and equipment - I thought I saw an old US water bottle on one? Nice concept though.
Probably not as good an episode as it could have been, but still enjoyable. I think I still sometimes miss the classic Doctor Who style of several episodes per story, although I guess that style no longer fits the schedules or style of TV audiences (and the ability to sell the show abroad, particularly to the US).
