Unfortunatley it never got that far - I did buy her a drink though, before she "went to find her mate". good job really - I was at Law School in York at the time and despite my having on my best whistle after a day at the races I think she would have been somewhat disappointed with the accomodation had she agreed to come back to my tatty single bedroom in the attic of student house!

(a) very drunk;
