the only character who looked the part in ROC was baroness, but her story line sucked! i personally hated snake eyes, his molded face mask looked stupid & storm shadow was wearing trainers & spent too long in his stupid looking white suit! the one character that realy REALLY annoyed me was shipwreck! didnt even realise who he was @ 1st.
did anyone else find a certain persons TERRIBLE english accent really annoying??!!!!!
in it's own right it was ok.........
How could you see that... that THING as the Penguin? he was fat, yes, but he didn't have anything of the refinement of Oswald Chesterfield Cobblepot. Being a fatty in a suit is not enough to be the Penguin; Personality counts. I can get a bit more the Catwoman thing, but still... who was the idiot who casted Michelle Pfeiffer and didn't tell her to dye? In fact, Sienna Miller DID dye to look like

, and yes, the "mind control" thing ruined her, but he was half the way to the character before that. I also disliked to see a mouth in  's mask, but that has been done before in ARAH, so the film is not to blame.
PS: Where was Shipwreck in the movie? I saw Jinx, but not Shipwreck.

The newer films are awesome though I think - Batman Begins and the Dark Knight are brilliant. I may have enjoyed them more as I've never read Batman comics, so I had nothing to compare to or feel they didn't live up to.
To threadjack - can anyone recommmend a good entry point into the Batman and Superman DC worlds - possibly as a TPB? I' a Marvel guy, but yesterday bought the Monthly released Superman and Batman Comics only to find I was too late! Batman is dead! Any ideas for a good start point to go back to?
Returns and & Robin wer horrible, at least the new saga is making things good. I don't reccommend anything of the new DC, they are going downhill, killing J'onn J'onzz and pretending they can make a Justice League without him. Besides, they recovered the awful numbered Earths and completely missed the point of the Titans and put the new sidekicks as the team rather than the members from all life, though that one was corrected by creating a separate team of adult Titans, and Dick Grayson is Batman now, so not everything is lost (though the J'onn J'onzz thing beats everything else).
