Was in a Woolworths yesterday, and saw a nice 1/24 scale Harrier Kit in their sale for ?24.99.
Its slightly out of Scale to Action Force (1/20) but it should be close enough to use for a custom job if anyone is tempted (and has a local Woolies)
Action Force without an Air Force
Custom Fodder
It's good to be back
Action Force STILL Needs You!

When I was a kid I obviously spent many sleepless nights wondering what
was meant to do with his life, apart from take on Red Shads with his little Browning automatic.
So, when I found some large A3 white sheets with blue horizontal and vertical lines on them while clearing out part of our primary school I knew it was my chance - draw the goddamn blue prints for the SAS Hercules.
needed somewhere to operate from too obviously. I was content. All the more so as it was '85 and the Red Shadows were no more (for f*?%s sake!) so I overcame my sorrow by continuing the
meta-narrative in some form at least. Then I started work on the SAS Chinook for the Jeep and MMS. Might have done a Sea King as well, but that was Falklands influence I guess, maybe better for Z Force.
As everyone's said, the Harrier and the Lynx would also have been great, but I put them in SAS Force assuming that Chopper did all the leg work for SAS-Z ops, but the Lynx would have been really cool for Z Force, Harrier too, but perhaps better in all black?
were always without aircover till
emerged in an invention that creeped out my family for some reason. The A-10 would have been perfect for the Baron's minions I guess. But they needed helos too - Mi-24 Hind would have been perfect, possibly a Mil Mi-28 Havoc for dedicated attack role, or Kamov Ka-50 Black Shark. Would have been killers in red with the Enemy codes written all over them!
I must still have the new blueprints somewhere, shouldda patented them LOL.
I blame BAOR for brainwashing me with all the non-stop military exercises I frequently saw!
As for
and
that's for another time (unless Q had a goddamn aircraft carrier with a Sea Harrier....)

Action Force Air Force.
Ok.. no air force.. by this you mean the actual vehicles or figures as well?
I always thought
stood for Special Air Service.. so wouldn't this be covered by them?
Incidentaly I have an AF Helicopter which is the Elite Operations Assault Helicopter seen here:

As for names I've chosen the Peregrine. It's primarily a transport helicopter but the guns on the front offer great air to ground support.
