I like how the yellow, orange & red replaces the red, white & blue stripes..it's a nice tie in with the last year of the Actioman packaging which used the same design & colours in the U.K., did Toltoys use the same colour's ?

If it's possible, I'd love to see close ups too please airedevon..I love finding out about toy evolution like this, things like the Transformers/microman link etc, just fascinate me.

You mean like on that HAL? Yeah, they used that on the last 12" Toltoys VAM's too iirc.

Paul, hope this picture is OK (I took it quite a while ago - I can take a better one of just the Toltoys Action Man, if anyone would like me to):

Well my goodness me!

Aire, even though I know that you have everything, it still completely amazes me with the pictures you provide!

That Action Man packaging is SO great!

I love every bit of it!

Many thanks for the pic although a more close up one would be even better!

Only version 1.5 swivel arm Joes, nothing before them and nothing after them. Its a pity they didn't have international bio's, that probably would have helped. The figures were released around 1984 in NZ, there was a lot of anti American sentiment at the time. Banning of Nuclear wessels etc. I'm pretty sure the figures listed in my first post are bang on the money, I can see a RAM in that pic so that's confirmed. So in summary;

Carded figures were; Breaker, Rock'n Roll, Scarlett, Snake Eye's, Cobra, Cobra Officer, Zap, Short Fuse, Grunt, Flash and Stalker.
Boxed Vehicles/Figures were; Grand Slam - silver pads variant(with the HAL), Hawk (with the MMS), Clutch (with the VAMP).
Boxed Vehicles were; FLAK, JUMP and RAM

That's all of them, I have the Polar Battle Bear and that may have been AM packaging too, but I don't think it was. I can't recall if the vehicles had GI Joe stickers either, they may have been the same but without the GI Joe sticker included. All mine were redone AF when BAF came out with that sticker sheet so I can't check to tell

These figures looked great next to VAM gear, it was like a kids Action Man heaven. Bloody awesome going to the local toy store where there was a huge row (well it seemed huge) of AM stuff. When I say AM I mean both 12" and 3 3/4" of course. I can still see those rows of uniforms..........

It's a real pity most of the smaller none American companies, like Toltoys & Palitoy aren't still around today.. With giants like Hasbro selling the world over we just don't get the diverse variety of packaging anymore

Hi!

I took a few more pictures this afternoon. These pieces are in a corner in a hallway and they are hard to photograph (tight squeeze right there :-)
- I apologize for the quality of the pics.

Chopper, I don't have the time right now - but please email me with a list of the figures you would like to see (picture of the backs) - and as soon as I sort through the projects I have going on now, I will take some pics for you! No problem! Happy to do it!
I will also look for the other vehicles I have (somewhere :-)

I was going to ask about the mini vehicles too, they look to deatiled to be the give-a-way ones, are they die-cast?

soobydie and Thundershot, yes the mini-vehicles are the die-cast ones released in the 80's.

Here is a picture of a few of them packaged. They were released in the US and Canada. In the picture, top left is the MOBAT in US release packaging (kind of easy to tell :-) and a little lower to the right, is the same vehicle in Canadian release packaging:
