Greetings, one and all!!
Hi there. It's taken me a week, but finally I've made it onto the forum to say hello to fellow Action Force fans around the world!
What can I tell you...? I'm a dedicated, hardcore, collector of over 30 years!!! I'm proud to say I own the entire AF collection, and my combined AF/GIJoe collection numbers in the thousands. I began collecting when I was a kid, and was one of those fortunate enough to collect the lot the first time round. My collection kinda went into 'suspended animation' for a few years when I got older, until I discovered eBay!!! Then I started 'army-building' and collecting all the Joes I'd missed from the States. I have every figure produced in the US & Europe up to 2010!!! I also have selected items from Argentina & Brazil - and convention exclusives from the US & Canada! My collection includes the Flagg & the Defiant, but my first love, and my all-time favourites, were, are, and will always remain Action Force.
My very first figure was the SAS figure released in the first wave - i.e. not SAS Force. I was always a big fan of the military when I was a kid, but I vividly remember, way back in 1980, on the 5th May, watching live as the SAS stormed the Iranian Embassy in London, and announced to the world just who the best of the best were. So naturally when my eyes clapped sight of that figure a couple of years later, my collection began.
Now it's over thirty years later and still going strong!!!
It is an honour to join this site, and wish to pass on my thanks and praise to Jim Marshall for this incredible site, and indeed all those who have helped and contributed to it over the years.

Welcome! I also remember the Iranian Embassy Seige and the effect it had on my young mind and how I wanted to be in the SAS. I settled for owning a few SAS figures though!

Re: Greetings, one and all!!
Thanks for all the warm welcomes!
And it does indeed take up a lot of space!! I live in a small 2-bedroom flat with my fiance, and a 6-month old... So my collection is safely packed and stored and out of 'harm's way'
So I'm very sorry to say but it may be a LONG time before any pics are available
. Of course, any new additions in the meantime I will obviously photograph and post...
I am very proud of my collection and quite agree it could be described as 'freakin' awesome'
Judging by some of the avatars and comments I've seen, not only on this post but many others, it would appear that
are among the most popular!! They're my favourite too - and I have a full 'Squadron' - classically organised, as in real life, into 4 Troops (Air, Boat, Mobility & Mountain), each of 16 men... [Told you, once I found eBay I started 'army building'!]
Air Troop - 16x
Boat Troop - 4x
4x
8x
Mobility Troop - 1x
1x
2x
4x
4x
1x
3x
Mountain Troop - 16x
Equipment-wise, the lads can call upon... 1 Hawk, 1 Wolverine, 8 Panthers, 2 MMS, 6 Boat Patrol Rigid Raiders, 4 Silent Attack Kayaks - and 2 'specials' [thanks to World Peacekeepers Power Team Elite] - a 'Blackhawk' Assault Helicopter & a 'Nighthawk' Attack Helicopter!
This team of ultimate fighters is my pride & joy....
