I did too. It wasn't perfect but I thought it was a good follow on that didn't try to rehash the same tired old stories. I thought Brandon Routh did a great job too. A pretty good Clark/Kal El balance.
Let me tell you, Gunner La-De-Dah Graham, the British Army can fight anything! Intimate or not!

Re: Man Of Steel
I loved it, thought Brandon Routh nailed it and overall it was a good follow on to Superman II.
I also wish they weren't doing an origin in Man of Steel but I think they had to because of the court case with the heirs of Seigel and Schuster.

Now I have seen it but can't have made much of an impression on me as I hardly remember any thing about the story or quality of the acting etc..

Everything is going to be like crap compared to Batman for the next 5-6 years. Any one have any more news about GI Joe 2?

I think it'll look crap compared to Superman:The Movie. Circa 1978 which speaks volumes about the latest crop. Good writers get waisted and yes men get the jobs. Hope Joe 2 picks up too.

I'll go and try and enjoy it, both of them and Trek too. I'll be trying VERY hard not to let my preconceptions ruin them.
