Thanks for asking - it's still very sore and stiff, but the agonising burning has stopped thankflly. I assume that was the torn muscle repairing itself. I still can't bend down to pick things up. I only heard form the police on Saturday whereupon I told them I wanted to be kept informed of significant events (as opposed to every 28 days or at the close of investigation), so still waiting really.

I risked a walk into town earlier and I'm really paying for it now. Tried some heat pads which are quite marvellous little things. Pleasant enough sensation but didn't actually help at all!
