Wouldn't that Betamax be too big to fit in :muton: 's head? ;-)

People used to laugh when I told 'em that we had a Betamax home video, but it was a damn fine machine, superior in picture & sound quality to V.H.S, aesthetically even the design of the machine itself still looks very contemporary.

Both V.C.R's (+ 2 portable tellys) went down to the recycle centre this morning, along with my old knackered Race & Chase set...thinking about taking all those stupid action figures too, as they're taking up way too much storage space ;-)

We still have a VCR here since we haven't gotten yet as DVD all the stuff we have on VHS. Besides, VHS can record from TV and DVDs don't.
Wgatever, now comes the Blu-Ray. I hate the evolution of technology.

give it a few years and it'll be fibre optic broadband downloads and no need for a shiny disc of any kind...
