Fisher Price Adventure People

Post by Fanboy »

Hi,
I may be posting in the wrong spot but it's time to sell my Fisher Price Adventure People collection. My son has never bothered with them and they are taking up loads of room. I can Ebay it but I thought I'd let the guys here have the first option as that way I know they'll end up going to a good home. For those who don't know they are AF sized figures and vehicles, exceptionally study and well made.
I have:
the safari set (jeep, trailer, tent, cages, net, animals, figures etc )
The wilderness set (jeep, tent, figures, sleeping bags)
2x fighter jets (great for AF!)
Stunt plane and pilot
Park Ranger set (plane, all terrain vehicle, boat, ranger and pilot)
Shart hunter set (boat crew and shark)
Boat set (boat, mini-boat, figures, dophin etc)
2x submarine set (2 helicopters, octopus, 2 submarines, several figures)
Stunt car and figure
motorbike&sidecar with figures
Assorted figures.
There's probably more as well, I'm still sorting them. I've no idea what to charge but it is a great collection and it's breaking my heart to see it go. If anyone is interested PM me. I'll get some photos up if wanted.

Are these the figures that are somewhat like vintage Star Wars figures that came out in the '70s? For some reason I keep coming up with the picture of wooden round bodies and sphere shaped heads for the figures when I think of Fisher Price, but I know that can't be right. Pictures would be great.

Momaw, These are the figures that kenner painted up for prototypes of Star wars figures. I know that the Solo proto is definently one from this line.

I remember those now. I had some of them back in the day. If we haven't moved around so much, I would say that I have that motorcycle somewhere. Now though it's most likely long gone. I would guess shipping would be a killer to the states, but that yacht shark hunter set, would be cool. I like the fighter jet too. Does it have any landing gear? Would like to know what the jeeps or wheeled vehicles you have look like, if you get the chance.

What are you asking for them, BTW? Thanks

Hi - I've no idea about prices. I was sort of hoping to sell the whole lot for about £100 but I've seen just the safari set on ebay for £120 so I might have to rethink. You're right about postage, these are big heavy toys (almost unbreakable!).
I'll try to get some photos up of the rest soon but need to find a few missing parts in my sons room and clean up the canoe (my first ever custom, I coudn't afford the SAS silent attack as a kid so adapted my FP toy!)
Cheers for now. :-D
