My Course

Post by paul463 »

Well i'm in my room in the mess trying to motivate myself to do some study for my 2 hour exam tomorrow morning. I spent part of today being taught how to work out how many pallets you could get on a flat bed truck.................. The last two days have been soul destroying. We finish at midday and as soon as I've had lunch I'm off to the museum for a peaceful wander around and to buy the GF a RAF Teddy bear.

i'm with ya bro
been doin an nvq for about 6 months, so very nearly finished.
2 units left and i usually get a month for each unit but i just dont operate like that and usually pull an all-nighter the night before the work is due which i'll be doin tonight :-(
best of it is i need the qualification for a job i've been doin for over 10 years and once i've got it thats it. no promotion, pay rise etc.

no wonder i left skool w nuthin cause i really hate studying.

actually i dont mind studying as long as its stuff i'm interested in.

Cheers mate. Some bits have been a bit awkward because I'm an Officer some of the Junior NCO's on the course are being a bit stand offish. Which is a shame really but hey ho!

Good luck Paul, I recently did a level 4 health and safety course it could of been interesting but the lecturer was Britains most boring twat, I was yawning so much I nearly broke my neck.

good luck!

someone at work put me forward for an NVQ, had two people phone up to talk to me about it - 'oh, we understand you've expressed an interest...' uh, no. i didn't. first i knew was when the manager told me i was doing it, with no consultation. so i said not interested.
