Q Force Limpet Miner II - Codename Mollusk

Post by Monkfish »

Another take on the Q Force Limpet Miner. Chopper's already created the excellent Limpet, so I guess this guy will have to be Mollusk.

A very simple custom, with a couple of washers glued to the bottom of his breathing apparatus where he can stow his magnetic limpet mines (20-for-a-buck craft magnets).

Made to be played with - the young 'un had a surplus of aqua troopers and we wanted to create a bit of variety. Going to do the same trick with an SAS diver too.

(Just realised that the stem of the 'Q' on the mines really needs broadening.)

Nice! Like the red gloves too.
When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?

Simple but effective Monkfish - I like it and those red gloves are effective.

Cheers chaps. Thought the name better belongs as a small part (fnarr fnarr) in a Carry-On Film...

"What's that I see dangling below the hull there, seaman?"

"Mollusk sir."

"Don't be stupid man, ships don't have... ...oh, yes, thank you bosun, I see, my, that is rather a large one he's got there, going be quite the splash when that one goes off", etc, etc

...rather than an AF codename, but couldn't think of anything else.
