Right, my mistake. Maybe I could explain it in-story saying that isn't the smartest Viper there (he asked the question anyways, despite that Neo would kill him after that)

I tried to put the weapon on Snowcat's hand, but I chose one with too a small peg and had to raise his arm in a "guard" postion to make the shoulder help hold it.

Some hands can't hold the guns but the transformers can balance the guns on their shoulders I guess it depends on the range.
