They fight beneath the waves... in bright yellow bodysuits!

Q-Force Flying Fish & Mission Pilot

Post by Red Baron »

Sorry, it's another AF-5 custom! I must secretly love these vehicles I think. I thought Q-Force could use a multi-functional vehicle, so here's the Flying Fish with it's own Mission Pilot.

Love it! I think the black may be a tad severe, though. Maybe a grey to match the Swordfish?

Yes, perhaps you're right on that. It is quite a stark contrast of colours. The other trouble with the design of those engines is they can scuff the paint on the engine mounts that stick out the side of the vehicle

What about putting some small rubber washers over the pegs?

I think it's a bit of a tight fit to add much too - it's actually the piece of rectangular moulding that sticks out between the two peg arms that has rubbed the top of the mounting block. On the original, I think the design stops the engines falling to the down position too easily. I might try a piece of clear tape which will be thin and hopefully unseen. Needs a little re-touch first, but in the end it's not too visible.

Awesome I love it!
When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?
