My Goals

[Red Laser]

Earlier this year someone posted a topic about goals met and still to be achieved. I have met a fair few of mine some are still harder to complete. Where my Red Shadows are concerned with the addition of newer customs I now have an articulated Red Shadow high command with the exception of Red Wolf but I like my version of him. With the addition of this year's JoeCon collection I thought I would add Red Vulture to my articulated high command the thought just came to me that the new Red Shadow stands out more from the older ones and has black gloves not red so now apart from the odd one or two characters I might make up the original core characters are complete......but I may try to get another Wild Weasel to use as Red Wolf II.

Other goals not yet met are finishing the Oktober Guard, The original GI Joe team and now the Dreadnoks. I could spend forever getting the Cobra High Command but I have done what I set out to do where they are concerned.

I'm just a couple of figures away from finishing the complete '85 run (possibly the best year imho).

i recently got back into vintage Cobra.
loads more characters to get and then a few army builders.

Batman animated just after the bat plane, Mr. Freeze w insect body and Robin w glider.

Justice League Unlimited, have loads but still need loads more. Mattycollector.com is releasing a JLU Lobo in a few days and i cant wait. this fig was announced years ago then cancelled as Mattel didnt think Lobo was suitable for kids.

havent bought a great many figs over the last 12 months as i've been buying parts for customs but nearly have everything for my 25th shads.
have a squad of 25th SAS nearly finished, just need to tidy them up a bit and add logos.

still loads of vintage AF to get but in no hurry.

future plans are vintage BSG, blackhole, Star Trek and SW.

should keep me busy for a few more years

LOBO! I love Lobo, I have every comic, every guest appearance, loads of promo crap... do you have any pics of the figure please?

Goals for 2010 are to update the archives with new submissions and datafiles, finish colouring book four, organise the BFTB convention and the next Mutour and learn to play the guitar. And to have sex with something.

I may just play games on my PC though.

Into army building Cobra at the moment. Think I've hit my Night Viper limit with 7 complete ones so will probably switch to Crimson guards or Vipers now. Saying that I do like the look of a couple of Joes from the 1990 release - Ambush and Salvo look pretty cool. Also the one that has a 3 part rifle that fits into an Attache case whose name escapes me (maybe someone could look that up in the Bellemo guide as it will bug the hell out of me.)
Looking to complete my Thundermachine as well. (missing an unbroken ariel)
Also would like to start on the original GI Joe team.

this is based on the Justice League Unlimited cartoon so VERY animated looking but thats what i dig about these characters.

Oh yeah, love me Section8. I've got the first 20-odd Hitman, working my way up to getting the set - but I have read them all.

Got to say though, it didn't really capture Lobo. The Judge Dredd & Lobo team-up was much better and what got me started on the character.

I have Lobo: Infanticide stored somewhere the art was so so but the story wasn't too bad.
