Ok, so she arrives today. First of all she is in two pieces, but I can fix that, so no biggy; but then I notice something odd - she has two left arms! Not sure how best to handle it - should I send her back? She cost me $22 which is well below the going rate (now I know why), and at least I have one, and it is a good figure. If I do decide to send her back I'm not sure how best to approach the seller. I'm pretty sure he must have known - she had been opened so I don't see how he couldn't have noticed - but I don't want to start slinging around wild accusations and get his back up, even though I'm pretty sure he new what he was doing when he put her up for sale.
So, what would you do?

I'd definitely get on to them - if it wasn't in the description, or was hidden in the photos, then it's not really an accurate description, and I'd guess makes it open to dispute via Ebay?

Sadly, Steve, it was bought from a guy on Hisstank who had been to the Con (no pun intended); there was no picture in his trade lists but definitely no mention of the fault either or I wouldn't have bothered. This is why I am not sure how best to deal with the problem.
Re: Tow left arms on Natalie - advice needed
He's known what he's doing I'd guess, but on those circumstances, and if he has sold it knowing it's a "two left armer" arguing with him is unlikely to yield results. Personally I would keep the figure, put it down to experience, and not trade with the bugger again!
Are Natalie's arms from another action figure that could be acquired cheaply as a donor? Or, as a long shot - we should all check our Natalie's to see if they have two right arms! (I'll check mine tonight!)
Or, finally, she could just row her canoe around in big circles!!

i'd contact the seller.
i would be furious if this happened and he must of known if the fig was opened.
if he wont refund or exchange let the members of hisstank know.

Agreed. If that had happened on BFTB, I as admin would like to know. We have our own feedback thread and plenty of discussions regarding bad sellers, I expect HissTank do the same.
But tread carefully at first. Be polite and direct, he may genuinely not have noticed. He may just go "Bugger, sorry mate! I'll swap you a replacement, or refund, etc. etc."

I agree it always worth going back to a seller if you aren't happy and as The Baron says, just be polite as it could be a genuine mistake. You'll know soon enough if the seller either doesn't respond or isn't helpful. You may find some good comes of it and nothing ventured.

I'd contact the seller & explain that the figure is defective. If they genuinely didn't realise the figure was wrong then they should (if honest) reimburse you your money. If that doesn't work then contact ebay & they should investigate.

^he said eBay wasn't involved.
