Big (ish) money for little figures!

Post by paul463 »

Was watching this auction to see where it would end up and at £41 I was surprised for 7 :zforce: figures!! I know it has a mine sweeper in there and a medic but it still is a bit steep. A knock on effect of the Joe Con perhaps????

When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?

Er, that was me  . To be honest I nearly bottled out, but I figured that if I set a limit of £45 including p&p then that's just over £6 a figure, and taking into account the last Minesweeper I was watching went for over £20, then I would go for it. The fact that I have made a surprising profit on the Transformers collection I'm selling kind of made things easier. So, was it a case of a fool and his money? I'm happy but I think I'll be cutting back on the spending for a bit!

It's what you wanted to pay and it's what they are worth to you. I'm kinda lucky as I have three Minesweepers and the three of them cost a grand total of £16.

I wish I could find them that cheap now! But hey, I got an absolutely mint Red Wolf and Red Shadow for less than £10 the pair last week, so I guess it's a case of swings and roundabouts in this game.

I didn't see that auction, but the last NV I was watching a month or so ago ended at around £25. Ouch.
