Action Force Puzzles?

Post by Shogi »

I've been a fan of the GI Joe puzzles for years now. I've just always dug the artwork. Well a few years back I ran across this Action Force puzzle:

I've checked around at all the archive sites and no one lists it at all and I recently found another one on ebayuk with a sea scene involving the TTBP and a Moray

I was just wondering if anyone knew how many there were, where I could possibly get the others (if there's more than 2) and why no one seems to mention them at all?

I think they used the same artwork on the laminated placemats.
Have to dig out some pics.

Wow, I've not seen that - is it definitely an Action Force release?

Did you win the placemats, scooby? Please could I nab some archive pics?

Magnum 6 Delta has 3 of the 4 puzzles that make up the Battle Mural from 1984. Those were released everywhere as far as I know and these are different puzzles. The boxes say Action Force and GI Joe on them and the one I have in hand right now looks like it says made in Holland. I also see some French and Italian in the small print along the border. I think I may have gotten this one from a seller in Italy. The sea puzzle is coming from Honiton, United Kingdom. Here's some pictures of the boxes:

Well I just found two more on ebay. One's in Belgium and the other is in the Netherlands. Unfortunately, it'll cost $20 or more just to ship each one over here. Maybe if the Shadowtrak I'm selling on ebay or any of my other items get's me some money I can grab these puzzles :D

So I guess this means there are at least 4 of them :)
