Hi folks,
Just a random totally mad idea here, looking @ Sundancs's Crimson Guard photo...I wonder if the

figure was the inspiration for the

elite?

They do look very similar don't they?

i think i read somewhere that the Shads were an influence.

but i may have imagined it.

It was asked in Q&A Hasbro said the Red Shadows inspired the basic Crimson Guard not the Immortal type.

It is hard to say for sureâ€¦but the Red Shadow influence in the US was high.

It's probably just a coincidence, the red uniform & W.W.2 German with like epaulettes on the jacket...
