Excellent new set of toys! (not action figures)

Post by Lady Jaye »

Total crazy madness entered my house. I used to 'simply' mix records, but now I can do live mash-ups! This is really a great kick-ass deck!

Quite a few pennies. But then again, this has been my hobby since the age of 14, we don't have kids and I cannot take my bankaccount with me in my grave. Luckily my girlfriend agrees, but still thinks it is a ridiculous amount for a 'fancy CD-player' and expects me to perform on Creamfields in near future: "I want a little return on investment!"

And yes, it's a really cool eye-catcher in our livingroom for visitors: "What the f*ck is that?"

PARTY AT JAYES HOUSE!!!!
Holy Crap - those are some nice Ones and Twos! I'm insanely jealous, and also proud to see some turntable work still being done on, well, turntables.

I shall look forward to "As Heard on Radio Lady Jaye. Vol.1" in the foreseeable future.

You will hear jaye soon, I've booked him for your wedding!!!
When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?

For you the door is always open! Please don't take 'open' too litterally! When at work, the door is locked and the alarm is on, but you catch my drift. :-P

Steve, you realize that these are actually multimedia players? It looks like a turntable, it handles like a turntable, but there is no arm! You are actually playing files from CD or USB.

I'll get me coat......

I've never really gone into the most recent stuff, so forgive my ignorance, but with these do they behave like a turntable with the MP3's? Can you do spinbacks and scratching and stuff (okay, I know it wouldn't be actually scratching, but you know what I mean!). If so, even more "WOW"!!!

Yes, yes and yes, it is all possible! That's why I am so "off me nut" happy with them! You can also hook 'em up via MIDI to a laptop for even more creative options. I used to own their predecessors (also very good), but this is as real as it gets to vinyl without acutally f*cking up records! :D
