Ironblood's Personal Body Guard
Although this was the first custom I really started in ernest with painting / finishing, it has taken a while to reach this near final state. Needs a few finishing touches and the odd area of paint to touch in.
Overall I'm happy with the feel, although perhaps some of you won't like the obvious use of a Star Wars Emperor's Royal Guard head as the main focal point. I envisaged this guy as the Baron's personal body guard and elite assassin, but have not come up with a name I'm particularly content with - at the moment Red Terror. He's intended to be part human part machine (yes, very Darth Vader I suppose).
Could also work well as a Space Assault Troop for Ironblood's army.
Sorry the picture's a bit grainy - they normally work fine for me.
Appreciate any comments

Like the idea and the painting is very good mate. Just wonder though could you get that head a little lower to meet the neck and shoulders a bit more.

Re: Ironblood's Personal Body Guard
After years of Star Wars nutterdom its hard for me to get the fact that he's a royal guard out of my head and imagine him as a Shad, but that's nice work indeed.
Re: Ironblood's Personal Body Guard
I have to agree with the comments about the neck, his eyeslit looks disproportionate to his body. Sorry.
Always nice to see a Red Dufus shad too. Man, I hate them.

When I read the title of this thread I thought "Has he hired one because of Sundance?"
Nice work, especially like the cape.

Re: Ironblood's Personal Body Guard
I do agree about the helmet sitting slightly too high. I like the idea about hollowing it out, but sadly I have no tools that would help me. Any suggestions about what would be needed?
Re: Ironblood's Personal Body Guard
Why, a Dremmel Multi Drill of course! The best tool in the world ever! (expensive, but very useful!).
