Ironblood and Black Major customs

Post by Fant0mas »

Hi all-second batch of "pop and push" customs- very straight forward not a lot of skill involved at all but I think they look effective.

First up- Baron Ironblood-

easy peasy this one-just used German Officer figure from Indiana Jones, popped his head off and pushed on Dr Henry Jones head-added original Ironblood mask-quick paint job- painted armband and added skull logo painted red stripe on trousers and that's about it really.. but I think this gives Ironblood a nice look- one could almost say regal??

Black Major-

Ahh ,the Black Major-one of my favourites!
This figure again very simple to do-in fact both figures took me around half an hour each including painting to finish. ROC Snake Eyes body, jerkin was from a ROC Zartan, backpack 25th Anni Russian figure-the name escapes me at the mo...- firearm supplied by Maurauder, and the head is from the same German officer from the India Jones figs. I really like this face sculpt-I think it gives the Major a menacing look with his sinister smile-a right evil looking git!
With both these figs I wanted a different look but still retaining the classic elements of both the characters-I hope you like them-I had fun creating them(even if it did only take a short while!!!!)

Comments,feedback etc welcome

Cheers all

No improvements needed - these look great. I particularly like The Black Major.

What is the base figure? I'm currently using a Grand Moff Tarkin for mine, with a lovely long coat over the top, but I'm struggling with paint application at the mo.

Oh - and EXCELLENT CUSTOMS! I'd best get my finger out and get some more of mine finished - I'm looking like a slacker at the moment - haven't entered Custom of the Month in ages!

Very nice! Love the extra details the parts lend to the overall finish.

Excellent work, the simple ones are often the most effective, this is the way Hasbro could & should go with the :enemy: in my opinion.. minimal expense for them & hopefully collectors alike.
More news, as its made, from new Action Force!
