Star Wars Mos Eisley Cantina - 1:18 Scale

Post by silverc »

Not sure how many here are Star Wars fans, but I suspect a few on a board this big will appreciate this custom diorama that took me 18 months to finish.

It's a scale model of the Mos Eisley Cantina. It is made of wood, which had some advantages, but also some disadvantages when it came to manipulation. A lot of the other dioramas that I have seen of the Cantina are made in sections that fit together. This behemoth is one solid piece with a removable roof.

Since these photos were taken, I have picked up the new Hrchek Kal Fas (and a second to do the other alien that looks like this).... to replace my customs which were not very good. I also got the Leesub waitress chick. I have a pile of parts that I plan to use to do some more customs to finish the patrons, like the Tonnika sisters, the astronaut Danz Borin, and a few more.

This item is on the other half of the man-cave basement from my vintage GI Joe collection seen here:

You really are a talented guy, that is superb!
When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?
