Did they end without any bids? Can you contact the sellers?
Re: Damn You EDF, Damn You to Hell
Why wait untill the last minute before bidding?
Re: Damn You EDF, Damn You to Hell
To get the best prices, never give the opposition time to counter your bid. The amount of bargain that can be had with last second bids is amazing.Lady Jaye wrote:Why wait untill the last minute before bidding?
Sadly both of them had bids on them so I missed both of them.

always a killer when something screws your bid, some months back i was about to bid on an item i still haven't got, i placed my bid it took so long to load i missed out, i could of died.
CIA got you pushing to many pencils.
Re: Damn You EDF, Damn You to Hell
When there are 4 or so snipers after one item it's fascinating to watch the price rise a couple of orders of magnitude within the last 30 seconds.
The problem I sometimes got through being registered in Canada but having a UK family address available is the blocking of internationally registered buyers regardless of address, when there's nothing to indicate the block in the item description. I think the same can happen if you're not using a 'paypal confirmed' address. Wish ebay had a simple visible flag on the item description to show if the (signed in) buyer is eligible to bid beforehand.

I have experienced the exact same problem and had to get a friend in the UK to help me out with the deal, real annoying that you cannot see that there is a block when other UK-only are working just fine.Monkfish wrote:When there are 4 or so snipers after one item it's fascinating to watch the price rise a couple of orders of magnitude within the last 30 seconds.

Yeah, it was me who won that particular auction Eddie. It was great. I received it all within an hour and spent the rest of the night rolling around in it all laughing and whooping with joy.gung-hoeddie wrote:always a killer when something screws your bid, some months back i was about to bid on an item i still haven't got, i placed my bid it took so long to load i missed out, i could of died.
Anyway, what were you doing in the 'ladies panties' section of eBay..? Hang on. We are talking about the same auction aren't we...?
