I'd never seen this advert before,

Looking @ the Joe troops in the train set advert, they look suspiciously like the 00 scale U.S.Para's produced by Air-fix I played with as a kid :.

This toy truck set looks well cool, even more fun than my old beloved Matchbox Race 'n' Chase...& that had a jump ramp & Police car :-D

The train set certainly looks more entertaining than the Hornby one I had..

Speaking of the commercials on Y-T, am I the only one who can spot a difference between some of the figures shown in these and the ones that actually exist? I saw one where Blowtorch had an opening in his mask so you could see his eyes and the connection from the mask to his suit where in a different color. On this one you have to look at Leatherneck at 0:17 and check with the figure you have yourself.

And have anyone ever seen a Night Raven with the missile hatch shown at 0:15 in this one?

I think they used a lot of early prototype figures to film the adverts with, I guess it had something to do with time constraints & release dates.

If you look @ the backing cards for the 1st wave :AFLogo: figures, for instance, there's lots of little differences between the figure & vehicles pictured & actually released

Leatherneck looks as though he has a different hat, but that's all i can see...

sounded like Peter (Optimus Prime) Cullen doing the VO on the first He-Man ad in that montage...

I have had two and both of them just have a drag-down missilebay with the two missiles and not a "fancy" set of doorbays like in the commercial :)
