Post by bananamafia »

Hi guys and girls,
just wondering if anyone has any ideas of a site that is good to ID Star wars figures?
I have quiet a collection from when i was a lot younger, and need to find a site thats as good as BFTB to help id them and work out if the accessories are correct??
Any ideas greatly appriciated.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
I find Rebelscum is one of the better sites for vintage stuff..http://www.rebelscum.com/vintage.asp

I also like Lando's locker as well, but the site seems to consider some very minor things to be true variantshttp://www.landoslocker.com/

I'd also be interested to hear other peoples recommendations too.

I just checked out both of those sites you recommended T-shot. Awesome! Out of the two I think I prefer Lando's Locker. The navigation is really easy and there are no adverts bombarding you like on Rebelscum.

Great stuff all round. Thanks.

Stick them up on here and I can tell you, purely as a reference Rebelscum is a good place to start, though some of the playsets and vehicles lack exacting details of all the parts. Lando's Locker is good too, but I'd start with these as the deeper you go the more there is to find.

Thanks for the link to 12back Chop :-) , I'd never seen that site before but have just added it to my Favorites list..
You're right about the ad's on Rebelscum Shauny, & as OBD says there are a lot of gaps in the photo archives when it comes to play sets & Droids/Ewoks sections.

This site seems to be very comprehensive http://theswca.com/ covering more than just vintage Kenner...check out the Bootleg section, those Uzay toy's & packaging look wonderful
