A few new shads

Post by Dr Von Poopenheimer »

A few shads using my bag of heads, a bag of shadow heads may be the greatest thing I have ever received through the post!?

Always a pleasure!! ;-)

Looking good there - some good ideas! My favourite is the last guy - I always think that the early pics of the Shadows look like they had helmets on with balaclavas (like the Home Screen on here), and they seemed to sort of evolve into the Clam head design we now all know and love.

If you wanted to avoid the fiddly painting of the helmet logos (although you have done a sterling job!) contact The Kraken Wakes for some of his logos sheets? They go hand in hand with the bags of heads and save a lot of painting!

Am I weird? I like panting those logos (even tho they look a mess when I do) it's relaxing...

All good work, but the last guy's the real stand out for me...is that black insulating tape you used for the face mask?

The last guy is indeed the coolest. I'd wager the Baron's minesweeper had a short lifespan ;-)

Would :baron: need a minesweeper?
Would he not keep ordering :shadow:'s to run into a mine field untill all the mines were cleared from his path?

It's Games Workshop green stuff (painted black of course).

He's to protect the Baron part of a sort of command squad I've been working on, in his absence I'm sure he'd just catapult a few prisoners at the mine field.
