Jamarmiller - stop spamming me with PMs
Jamarmiller - stop spamming me with PMs
I'm generally a laid back guy, but I'm tired of getting PMs from Jamarmiller announcing his latest fan-fiction ventures. I know you work hard on them, but for the love of God, please stick to posting your announcements on the boards and stop filling my PM box with junk. I'm especially cheesed that the latest one is a solicitation for funds as well. If I wanted to buy your product, I would find you and do so!
Unfortunately, I can't seem to "ignore" PMs from someone based on the board's current settings.
Mods/Admins - a little help here?

The mere fact that a flamethrower even exists is proof that someone once said to themselves: "You know, I'd like to set that guy over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough".

We all get them dan it's not like he is constantly doing it and that it's not related to the site.

I can see both sides here. Whilst Jamars suff is not really of massive interest to me he is free to post on the board for those who are interesed like we all are. However I would say that I have recieved some PMs over the last couple of months that I do not want, so maybe the Baron could make the PM all option only available after prior vetting by himself.

Jamar has done a lot of excellent work finding people willing and and talented enough to chip away at the colouring project. In my view more than worthy of indulging in a very occasional bit of self-promotion for site-related projects.

Jamars I comic info I dont mind, people replying to it, maybe multiple times (which didnt happen this time) is a bit of a pain.
Not sure how many people got one from snakeeyes asking me to join his site and forum (only saw myself on copy but it looked like something sent to quite a few people) but didnt really need that one... Maybe im just being grumpy...

I did'nt know he was behind the colouring in project (me not paying attention) so up most credit to him for that I just meant that Modern US style comic books do nothing for me.

Jamar and the Baron are in charge of the project Humby as far as I remember Jamar kick started it all.

Little Humby likes it alot, it keeps his interest more then the black and white ones.

Re: Jamarmiller - stop spamming me with PMs
Project and site announcements are fair use of the PM system, in my opinion. I do it too. I did ask Jamar to stop using the system for board-wide surveys and he has obliged.
Sadly I am not a phpBB developer and, aside from dressing up the colour scheme and icons, have very little control over the behaviour of the forum software.
But yes indeed, Jamar is by far the most enthusiastic contributor, developer and promoter for this site, not counting myself. I don't think that listing a pricelist for his non-profit products actually counts as solicitation, either.
Hmm, would Little Humby like a set of printed edition Colouring Project books for Christmas? Turn-around is roughly 6-8 weeks so best place your order now!
