Font Error

The new Firefox update has killed the Futurist Stencil (Palitoy) font in the archives. The Action Force Normal (Hasbro) font remains unaffected.

Apologies for the inconvenience. I have notified the Mozilla engineers.

Is anybody else having this problem? Firefox support say it is working properly.

I've narrowed the problem down to the new release Firefox 3.5.4, as you can 3.5.2 works fine.

OK, it's confirmed.

I completely uninstalled Firefox and manually deleted the Mozilla folders from C:\Users\Moderator\AppData\Local and C:\Users\Moderator\AppData\Roaming

I did a clean install of the new Firefox 3.5.4 and went directly to my homepage.

As you can see, the Futurist Stencil font displays in 3.5.2, but not 3.5.4.

At no point did I reinstall the font itself. There is a glitch in the new Firefox release.

I know it's just a silly little thing, but it is integral to my site.

I can confirm this happens on a Windows machine (XP).

I've just downloaded Firefox 3.5.4 on a Mac and the font works fine there. Worked in 3.5.3 too, so it seems to be OS specific.

Good to know, thankyou. The mod I'm chatting too says it wokrs fine with Linux as well.

Having been completely ignored for four days I have no choice but to advise people to boycott the new Firefox. Maybe they'll pull their heads out of their asses and sort it out, but I am not optimistic. I have removed the Mozilla Firefox recommendation from the site Thanks page.
