What would you expect for the ROC sequel(s)?

Post by DAMartin »

The question is right there.
I'd like to see the Joes Beachhead, :doc2: (or his niece), Flint, Lady Jaye, Jinx (just because of the gal who seemed to be her in ROC) and a cameo of an old Tunnel Rat (only to see Larry Hama as the character), not all in the first sequel, but in the film saga.
To make space for them, :duke: , Heavy Duty and :ripcord: should slowly get away from the spotlight (nothing against them, but too many people would be bad to the saga), while :breaker2: is put in a non-battlefield duty.
For :cobra: , it would be good to see :firefly: in the first sequel; he is already coming late by not appearing in ROC. He could release :cobracommander: , :destro: and :baroness: .
It would also be good to see :copper: or :redwolf2: (I mean Wild Weasel), depending if the main vehicle battles will be at sea or air (if they happen on land, an air-to-land aircraft piloted by :redwolf2: would still be a good idea).
:storm: must return and reveal he DIDN'T kill Hard Master, and the real killer should be :firefly: .
The Dreadnoks should appear led by Zarana, keeping her as :zartan: 's sister but staying with the idea of :zartan: NOT being a biker, so his sister's lifestyle would cause a rift between the siblings.
And Slice for the 3rd film. He's awesome (not as awesome as :firefly: , but still awesome).
:cobracommander: "You were engineered with such potential, Serpentor. But you lack the most important DNA of all... mine."

i can understand firefly not being in the 1st one, (cobra only came into existence right @ the end) but he should feature heavily in the next 2!

Like the UK comics there should be a second tier command structure for Cobra those not living in a cave will know Zartan and maybe Storm Shadow are on the loose so this would be a good opportunity for Firefly,Scrap Iron and Wild Weasel to be used to free the Commander and Destro. Either that or we get a Star Wars like set up when the Neimoidian leaders were set free after the Battle of Naboo thanks to Palpatine where "President" Zartan will have the Commander and Destro freed on technicalities or some such.
Spock, where the hell's the power you promised?

One damn minute, Admiral

verging on story ideas here...

introduce Flint and Lady Jaye and Ace.

have the Baroness' nano-whatsits come back to life and she frees Destro and CC, have CC actively recruitng some characters like Scrap Iron, Wild Weasel, Firefly or Copperhead.

Storm Shadow weren't dead. return fight vs Snakes.

introduce more Viper beyond the bog-standard Neos.

above all, don't go the ROTF route and introduce sh*t-loads of new characters only to 'hi-and-die' them or make spit'n'cough cameos that aren't worth it.

it was a flesh wound!

and he was plunged into freezing cold water which would've slowed his metabolism enabling him to enter a healing trance.

In the Hamaverse, he was riddled and came back. a stab is nothing compared with that.

And even the heart-stabbing may not be enough, if once :duke: , a non-ninja, had a snake-spear tearing his heart apart and he just slipped into a coma, which he recovered from at the end of the same adventure ;-)
