@ long last, I've finally obtained Bodie & Doyle to complete my Corgi-toys "Professionals" Ford Capri

I think that I'm like most of you guys here, we're trying to piece together toys we had, or coverted from childhood...

It's taken me years, but here are some other fave's Ive managed to cobble back together over time, most are in the same sort of "play worn condition" I would of had as a kid, & are far from M.I.B..but that tattyness around the edges, just makes 'em more special for me in a strange way!

Corgi Police Range Rover, with all the cones & signs ( most are stowed in the back)

& the ubiquitous Matchbox "Battle Force 2000" rocket launcher, the best one of the range..as it looked like that explosives truck from Joe-90

I do have the 3 silver guys that came with this...but more amazingly, I've got 4 of the original missiles

Starky and Hutch? Wow! There are figures I didn't know existed!

Hi Da..
The figures are small (5cm tall) plastic toy soldier like extras that came with the cars..I always managed to brake the stands off when I was a kid ..trying to put them in other toy cars , still toys where built to be played with back in the day, & not to be collected by grown up men, who keep them in original boxes & display cabinets (if they're lucky or richer than I am)

I haven't yet forgiven myself for badly converting my Gran Tourino into the General Lee. Made perfect sense to me when I was 8, but now...

Still at least it's still getting played with by my lad, along with Kojak's car, the one with the swivelly bloke shooting a pistol out of the a back window.

That's one on my list to find , I had the small "juniors" Kojak car, but not the large one..when Knight Rider 1st came on the telly, I remember, every body @ school started to paint thier toy cars black, with a red "light" on the front

Plus it's nice to know kid's are still playing with "old school toy" cars, is most of the orange paint still on it? & did you used to make the musical horn sound when you jumped it over something

Yes, all the paints still on it, plus the red, white and blue splodges on the roof flag - it really is an awful botch. I don't remember the horn sound but managed as good an impression of the Yee-ha as a small kid with a god-awful East midlands accent could manage.

That Battle Force 2000 truck has got me feeling my age; that was stuff from the distant future at the time.

Wow, I haven't seen that battle force doo dad in 30 odd years. I had the Buck Rogers starfighter too. Thanks T'shot, now I'm keen to get some Buck Rogers stuff, sigh.
