Angry Dad Tells Kids Off Before Setting Fire To Their Toys

Post by Dave Tree »

Image

Just digging through some of the Palitoy paperwork following Squad Leader's post on baggies, and this image never fails to make me laugh. Just cropped out of the picture is the flame thrower he has in his left hand.

"You love Santa more than me? You think Santa brings you all this stuff huh? Let's see if the f##ker replaces all this then!!!"

Does anybody else like all this 'back in the day' stuff?

Scare Bears yes, but R.A.T.S?

Rings a vague bell but can't remember what they were?

Robot Anti Terror Squad...R.A.T.S

I always found it funny they didn't seem to have any enimies, & the pilots were the same little guys from Zoids..

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh I think I have some of those featured in some of the Toymaster catalogues!!! Will have to have a look.

Baron, yes, that is Captain Toymaster, that was one two outfit he had, the other made him look like a Power Ranger.

I worked for one of the members for 12 years and in that time they just had the stupid puppy... I did get to zip Barbies dress up though! And see Action Man / Jack Stone semi naked :-(

Kraken Wakes, did you ever take care of the buying for the outlet?
Is membership worth the money? I've been thinking of becoming an Associate member, so I can benefit from group buying without taking on the Toymaster brand itself, but the fees are quite high and I don't know if what I save will be more than the fees. Do you know if the wholesale is a lot better than what was offered direct?

In terms of 'back in the day' toys then, everyone pick their favourite non-AF toyline, one each, and I'll try dig out some toy catalogue references for you. It will take a day or so with what I have to hand, but should be a good trip down memory lane for everyone.

(should probably get moved to Random now too)

Dave.
