Two new customs ive finished

Just finished another 2 customs,hope you all like them.
The Z-Force Jeep is a bit big in scale for the figures but i finished it off anyway.
Must remember to NOT varnish the windscreen in future.
Got the idea of a Shadow Hovertrak from an old custom on here.I thought it was time to make one,divers on the way soon.
The plastic rubber ring was a bugger to keep the paint on,if you make one put the Trak inside first before you spray the ring (he,he) because the paint pops and cracks if you dont.

I don't know them Humvee things are massive machines in the flesh..yet, due to the mine proof layout they have vry little room on the inside..nice job on the shadowtrack,how well does the paint stick to the soft plastic?

I always liked the idea of the Shadow hovercraft, maybe one day I will get around to it.

The Shadow hovercraft was the first thing on a site I came across while I was looking for more info on DDPs use of the Red Shadows before I joined here it always appeals to me.

Thanks for the kind words,the paint went fine on the Jeep.I ued the Primer ive mentioned before on before.The green is so good you only need one coat and no paint on it after.
I think the Shadow Hovercraft fits in well with the rest of the series.
Got a BIG project on next for the site so fingers crossed it wont f**k up.
I will give you a clue......

love the hovercraft. the jeep's a good custom, but i think the base vehicle's a bit crap. no offence, but i don't like a lot of the Corps! vehicles...

Great pair of vehicles - if they were in the shops I'd buy them!!! I love the Shadowtrak boat especially!! Looking forward to seeing what you come up with next...

I agree,the jeep base is a bit crap but its good practice for me,im still learning how different paints and varnishes work with each other,i used bluetac for the camo,sprayed and then pulled the bluetac off but i think i can do it just as well by hand now.
There are some amazing customs on this site and i think we are al learning from each other.
I think we should have a workshop section on here showing the best ways to custom figures,tanks,cammo ect.
We should all have a get together today....a mini Action Force convention.
