UK Magazines, newspapers, comics, etc

Post by antarctica »

Hello all,

I am looking for anything printed that is special to the UK & Europe regarding the GI Joe Rise of Cobra movie.

By printed I mean comics, magazines, newspaper, promo items etc. Especially in a foreign language. Magazines with the actors on cover that are UK specific. If any of the comics are released over there with UK pricing.

I am one of the site adminstrators for Yo Joe (the comics section including the International) and can offer trading US items for them or I will just cover all costs and shipping expenses.

So if as the movie gets closer you spot anything that is normal on your shelves that a US collector would like to have I can help faciliate a trade with other US Joe collectors.

Thanks

And you will enjoy the movie it is a fun ride.

I am echoing this request.

If anybody has any UK or European merchandising relating to the Rise of Cobra movie, please drop me a PM.

I am happy to act as a go-between for Josh, if people can send the magazines to me I can then forward them overseas in one parcel.

Transformers UK also included puzzles and trivia games and was good.

Are you talking about current Transforrmers UK or the 80's version?

i tihnk he means the current one. the '80s one had 2 or 3 strips, a letters page and a fact file and the 'comedy' strip of either Robo-Capers or later Combat Colin.

i got confused and thought it was Titan because they're doing Transformers, Terminator Salvation and Star Trek using IDW stuff...

I was talking about the '80s ones (though maybe only the annuals included games :-? ), but I guess the current one and its alternate ending for the movie could be good, too.
