CHUD and Latino Review both like it, but emphasise it is not a thriller like The Bourne Identity, it is OTT. but old school Joe fans will like it.

Yeah, I saw those reviews and they got me even more pumped for it... Didn't one of them say it's literally the 80's show in film form? Awesome!

Even though :destro: is not wearing the mask, it's nice to see it, referencing the family tradition. :-D

Hmmm, it's cool the way (so far) they're not showing us Destro fully masked up and letting us see it in action on screen for the first time...I hate the way, like with Transformers, you'd literally seen the whole film before you even got to the cinema via trailers and spots :(

Anyone know if this is actually what Destro with his mask will look like?

the Joe trailers and spots are mostly showing the same clips. largely from the Paris Pursuit set piece and the  / :storm: fight...

Revenge of the Fallen likewise kept showing the same clips in its trailers. particularly Sideways' crash through the building into a forward roll in to car mode and Prime getting smacked in the kisser and leaping on Demolishor and Demolishor's rampage.

The rating has been released in some countries too. PG13. Fek it.

probably a 12A in the UK.

can't you take your lad if he's underage but you're accompanying him? that's how 12A works, parents of under-12s are advised it may not be suitable.

'mild fantasty violence, some mild language' and all that...

ah, the US guidance says 'strong sequences of action violence and mayhem throughout'

sounds good to me :D
