Hi all,
Got a little bored with the telly last night & started to play with me camera, most shot's were rubbish but this pair came out O.K.;

In the old days, if I got bored, I'd of spent countless hours building a model kit, but I just don't seem to have the same amount of patience I once had...

Does anyone else here have any old hobbies or interest they don't get the time to pursue,& would like to get back into once again?

You take pretty good happy snaps, mate. That Cyberman looks pretty nasty.

I make models too, got 4 lined up to start atm. A RNZAF A4 Kahu, A RNZAF F-16a (a what if the dopey bitch didn't get elected mock up), Cessna float plane and a Klingon bird of prey. Last one I did was Anakin's pod racer. So i got that problem, AF, VAM, guitars, shooting, music..... no bloody wonder I got no cash ;) I have had to box up my collection of RAF 1/72 WWII aircraft as there was no room after my last 12 months of AF collecting.

None of my models look as good as yours do, mind you.

The problem with me is that I like so many things and there is so little time in a day! I think I need to find a very wealthy woman, so that I can quit my job! ;)

At the moment collecting is at a low pitch. Currently producing with Ableton Live8 and photography have my priorities.

Thanks for the nice comments guys  ,
Maybe we sould all make a little more time for past times that we enjoy?

:chopper: , I'd love to see photo's of your models, I'm sure they're a lot better than you suggest!
It's bummer having to put such hard work in storage 'cause of lack of display space..thats why I started to take photo's of my toys & models in the 1st place,as a sort of virtual museum, that I could view any time I liked & not unpacking everything. Now I've started taking photo's just for pleasure, I enjoy setting up shoots, as it gives me a reason to play :-D

Any ways rain's stopped play out side, so I got playing with my spare accessories box..

Just about finished an Aussie Navy A4 And in the middle of building a Vampire, Sabre, La 7 and an I - 16 type 24!
When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?

I'd like to see the Vampire when it's all finished Paul, British jets of the 50's & 6o's are so much better looking than any of the contempory U.S designs.

I keep looking @ the Airfix T.S.R.2 kit, it may just get me out of my model making retirement?
That plane was years ahead of it's time, curse the penny pinching politians for pulling the plug on it!!

No worries, I was hoping to do it in 612 Sqn colours that was the unit I was heading to before I was medically chopped. Hannants have sold out of those decals though :-(

I agree with you about the designs of those aircraft. Although my favourite if the Skyraider.
