MILO IS BACK HOME! (very upsetting images)

Post by Ross SC »

ok, so the little trooper is out of hospital!
his drainage holes are still open & need to be cleaned frequently, + he has to wear a cone (which he hates!)
he settles down sometimes, but he's really frustrated because he is normally a very active dog & @ the moment his movement is very limited + he is still in a lot of pain so the poor little fella is crying a lot coz he just wants to be picked & held but coz of his wounds he cant be! really horrible to see him suffering, but @least he is back home now!

THE FOLLOWING PICS ARE NOT VERY PLEASANT, just warning you!

Aww bless him - the little trooper. Good to see him home though Ross. Vets take good care of them, but they are still better recovering at home.

I'm almost speechless, but I had to post to show my support. It's good to see Milo back with the family.

poor little Milo - thought he does look like he's enjoying getting a kiss from his mum :)

can't get over how big the wound on his back is, looks like the other dogs threw him around like a ragdoll

Poor little sod, I hope he gave as good as he got!

As horrendous as it is, the worst is over. I use Germolene on my cat wounds as it has a local anaesthetic in it. Do you want me to send a tube over?

I'm very relieved for you, Ross. Forget a Shadow patch, he needs an SAS beret!

I use Germolene for everything! It's become a running gag in our house. If I were to lose a hand I'd pop some germolene on and it'd have grown back by morning.

That might get Ross into trouble. You are not allowed to send any type of medication abroad, even if it's being sold OTC.

f*ck! Those are some serious wounds...

Man, if there's one thing I can't handle it's seeing animals hurt or in pain :(

As someone said though the worst appears to be over, he's looking alert and ready to take on whatever the future holds for him :D

Best wishes to him and his family bro ;)
