I wish we could've done this, seems ages till Memorabilia and would've been nice to have something in the meantime

we're both off on Sunday but the train fares are SHOCKING. Plus this week I am booking the hotel for Memorabilia (you're right about the two nights/three nights thing - weird....) and the hotel for Carter USM

Some great guests there by the look of it - Kenny Baker, Dave Prowse, Eve Myles etc etc etc

I'm just consoling myself with the fact that I won't have to put up with all those goddamn cosplayers...

Annie, try http://www.thetrainline.com - it may be too close to the date now, but I normally can find an advance discount ticket.

Two singles are often cheaper, too. I have been told that you if you buy several small-stop tickets for the same train you can save a fortune (ie Nottingham to Brimingham, Birmingham to Bristol, Bristol to Taunton instead of Nottingham to Taunton).

Where is your nearest station? Weston?

There is an Advance Single ticket from WESTON-SUPER-MARE to WEST BROMPTON at 11:33 (arrives 14:50) for £25.50.

You are a bad man.

Highbridge (gawd help us) is our station. I say "station" in the loosest terms as it appears now to consist of a shelter with no sides or roof, a bridge scrawled with "I LoVE CoreY" and two platforms where trains stop only on the second Tuesday in Lent.

If you were handbag-sized, like Muton, and me and Eddie were going (which we're not), then I'd gladly get a photo of you with Eve Myles.

How big is your handbag?

There is a First Advance Single ticket from HIGHBRIDGE & BURNHAM to WEST BROMPTON at 08:16 (arrives 11:50) for £33.00.

Can't see a cheap return for the Sunday though...

I know Berry's buses to a VERY cheap return London coach from Taunton. I'll see if I can get you the number.
