Peeled off and dusty stickers: What can I do?
Peeled off and dusty stickers: What can I do?
So a few years ago I bought this minty-keen AF-3 Special Patrol Vehicle that didn't even have the stickers applied. Cost me a bunch, but it was worth it, the modular elements and the converting boat-roof are just tons of fun.
Sadly, the sticker sheet was bent and the stickers never straightened after I applied them, and during the time they spent in storage, they got real dusty. One of the headlights will simply not stay applied anymore.
Finding a replacement sheet would probably be a harduous and costly task, so I'm wondering if there's any way to fix/replace the adhesive on my stickers.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I often use just a normal pritt stick for reapplying stickers..never had any trouble, or spray mount for the larger stickers. a gentle wipe over with a slightly damp kitchen towel often does wonders for cleaning 'em as well I found.

Pritt Stick works for me too, and wet wipes are a blessing in disguise too, great for cleaning.

One thing I found that worked really well, clean the dust off with something like a light baby wipe or some other diluted alcohol. Then apply PVA using a cotton bud or paint brush then push the sticker back down. Did it to my Cobra Hyena and its as good as new now.

About the pritt stick; I haven't had any trouble with my Joes' stickers, but my Transformers' ones tend to peel off (specially my G2 Combaticons), and the Pritt stick has worked too well.

Re: Peeled off and dusty stickers: What can I do?
Sounds like a consensus, but if you do need to replace the bent ones, we have a scan on the original sheet:

That's really swell, Baron, but sadly I don't have the means to print myself out a custom label sheet...

Re: Peeled off and dusty stickers: What can I do?
Stick it on a CD and take it to a print shop.
Re: Peeled off and dusty stickers: What can I do?
Any print shop will do it for you on self adheisive paper, all you need is the scan on a cd or on a pendrive.
Just ask them to do a black and white copy first to check the scale otherwise they may charge you twice if its the wrong size.
Or you could go to the printshop and buy a few sheets of self adheisive A4 and then pester one of your mates to print it out for you ?
Or ..... better still .... do you have a laser printer where you work ?
