sci-fi sounds!

Post by Ross SC »

just got home from a gig, didnt play (one of my bands was playing but without me) but organised by me.
few of my friends jammed together & i played theremin! awesome piece of equipment (cant really call it an instrument) responsible for the freaky noises on countless old sci-fi & horror b movies, had a blast!
didnt get any custom work done today, was my day off but slept in then had to go to an artshow before the gig.
now my head is spinning from copious amounts of guinness!

The Theremin?.. such a cool sounding thing, I saw Bill Bailey play one when he did a comedy gig @ Peterborough..are they hard to play? It's not like you're pressing keys or pucking strings..just waving yer hands about a bit, so how do you hit the right note?
