Terminator tv show
anyone watching this??
its been pretty hit and miss for me but the last couple of episodes were pretty cool and last nights was outstanding.
next week is the last episode and i cant wait.
rumours are tho that the show has been cancelled which seems a bit strange as the new movie is out this summer.

Re: Terminator tv show
it follows on from T2 with a bit of a time travel jump to bring it into the present.
it ignores T3 which aint a bad thing.
some really good episodes but also a lot of pretty poor ones although it seems to be building to an explosive climax (over to steve and dave) for next weeks season ender.

The thing is though T3 is the dawn of the Terminator so is quite important to the whole saga T4 does look very good.Double-tap wrote:it follows on from T2 with a bit of a time travel jump to bring it into the present.

TSCC is one of my favourite shows. it's cancellation is not confirmed. i say again, it's cancellation is not confirmed.
i couldn't believe how (spoiler)they killed Derek off. BAM! he's dead. so sudden.
TS isn't really using T3 in it's background and is a seperate entity to TSCC. it's a remake, sequel, prequel and reboot all in one, apparently.

T3 is no longer in continuity.
i've watched it a couple of times now and although the first time i watched it turned it off its not as bad as i originally thought.

Re: Terminator tv show
i knew it would happen, i'd been spoiled, but i didn't know HOW. thankfully. however, i've also been spoiled on how the show ends and i REALLY want it to get renewed...
T3 is in continuity. to T3.
the time-travel thing means every iteration is in continuity in one timeline or other...
T1-T2
T1-T2-T3
T1-T2-TSCC
T1-T2-TS

Re: Terminator tv show
I saw it weeks ago. You will not believe the series finale, don't worry I won't ruin it.
It doesn't contradict T3, it just follows on from T2.
It has Summer Glau in it which is reason enough, her performance is also outstanding. I think Sarah Conner, John Conner, Cameron and Derek and all superb, but the second tier characters are bloody awful. The cop bloke and the bird out of Garbage are so BORING. And as for Cromarty... Terminators are supposed to look menacing, not perplexed. The guy has a really high voice too, I can't take him seriously.
But the good episodes more than make up for the bad ones, and I will most definitely be tuning in for the third season.
