I have the books, never read them tho. Got a few Steven King books, well my wife does. Only one's I read was "It" and "The Shining", great books. I like authors like Arthur C Clarke, HG Wells, George Orwell, Aldus Huxley... that kinda thing. A bit of Stephen Hawking too.

No, just Brave new World. An amazing book, really sticks in my head. I should pull finger and read more of his stuff. Forgot to add Douglass Adams and Jules Verne. reading "The Road to Mars" atm, by Eric Idle. Just finished Chuck Yeager's Biography. Damned good read.gung-hoeddie wrote:i've read a few aldous huxley books myself, brave new world which is one of my favourites and ape and essence which inspired planet of the apes, have you read the doors of perception?

Re: the dark tower
Damn, thinking about it I've not read a "real" book for years now..or any comics either, just collectors guides & "the making of the (insert film title here).." type of books..
Comics wise I'd started reading Kabuki.. the alchemy by David Mack, & then the local comic shop owner got busted for Drug dealing & his shop was closed down.
Has it come out in trade paperback yet?
