That's part of the reason I started to collect :AFLogo: again..too many dealers charging high prices for poor condition Star Wars stuff..I can remember when dealers used to turn their noses if your asked them if they had any "old Star Wars" & collecting was a inexpensive hobby..I've got a bad feeling :AFLogo: prices will skyrocket with the G.I.Joe film's release as dealers cotton on to a new wave of interest, so another hobby will be beyond my income level!
More news, as its made, from new Action Force!

anniem and myself went to the toy fair at the bath and west show ground last year, similar thing, loads of star wars and action man stuff. Only one stall with any action force, i did buy a large box of figures though. I got 150 figures for £120 which was a good deal.
CIA got you pushing to many pencils.

No way, had I known, would have said to give me a shout :)

Chloe and I went, walked round and round I picked up only a Dutch Darth Vader mailer and Clo picked up about 10 frikkin My Little Ponies. I was left so unsatisfied, that then drove another half hour to Modellers Loft and bought 2 40th Action Men. I asked Alan if he had any Red Shadows, he said it was real weird as they had so many, for so long and then all of a sudden 1 guy bought 50 carded and cleaned them out.

Chloe may have got her pony fix, but at least I ended up with 2 new Action Men - eventually :)

Anyone heading to any shows soon?

I am at Telford next weekend
Birmingham Comic show the Saturday after (28th)
Barry Potter at NEC the day after (1st)
and then NEC Memorabilia about two weeks after that.

Would be good to meet up with some of you if ever you venture out to shows :)
Dave.

which ones did you get?
When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?

I bagged, well Chloe bought me for my birthday, the new wave 14 German Stormtrooper/ paratrooper and also the Mountain Rescue set - which has gone on to be my favourite set so far. I need to replace the hands for grippers, but it is a fantastic set.

The German set is good, the Paratrooper does nothing for me, I wanted the Stormtrooepr as that is what I had as a kid. The hands on my one though are rock solid compared to the other grippers I have. I'll get some pics soon :)

If you are meaning Memorabilia, it shouldn't be too hard to find me, I have a 30ft space booked with t-shirts, new toys and vintage toys :)

In that case we shrink it down to 6 foot at that one, however, it should not be too difficult to spot us, we'll be the only stall holders under 70 years of age

On the Saturday we're at a comic show in Birmingham doing t-shirts, on the Sunday at the NEC it will mostly be a mix of modern and vintage Star Wars toys.

If you can make it, that would be brilliant, would be nice to meet some other forum members :)
