THE PLAGUE file cards.... any advice/suggestions?

Post by Ross SC »

ok, never done these before so go easy on me!
BLACKOUT just came from the original card, INCISION was edited down from an info sheet i found on hisstank.com.
not too sure if the details are ok, dont know too much about these guys but really like the concept of them!
if someone has a better pic for INCISION (or any of the other PLAGUE members) then let me know, im not too happy with the ones i have.
blackout should be up by tonight/tomorrow, incision soon after then i will probably start work on infrared & grim skull.
if anyone has an a.v.a.c.s figure/head to spare please let me know......

Hate to say it... there's a typo on Incision's code name.

Couple more typos, "violent" on the Incision final paragraph, and "proficiency" for Black Out. Is Black Out definitely spelt with two words? I also notice there is a splash of colour above the word "and" in the last line of Incisions' filecard.

Sorry to nitpick, these are exellent. Did you make the template? It might be an idea to black out the Hasbro logo.

no worries, i need people to nitpick! as far as "BLACK OUT" or "BLACKOUT" goes, ive seen it both ways so im not sure!?
the blackout figure is coming along nicely, incisions head is done.
dont worry, i will get back to shadows soon, planning a "what if" baron ironblood......

30-odd views, asked for advice & the only person who comments is the baron? you guys suck.
have made the adjustments but guess i better just put my joe stuff on hiss tank.
red shadow jet is sat half finished with my red shadow troopers, lost my drive now, drunk & disheartened.
wave 1 action force blows. non-jointed figures my arse.
baron, you interested in sgt. savage figures? just found unopened general blitz!

I ws just about to post and ask if you could post the template for the file card so I can create my own? WHat font s do you use etc?

Maybe not everyone feels they can offer advice or wants to? You are posting about niche Joe characters on an AF forum, I would expect maybe a similar response if I asked for AF advice on HISSTANK but that doesnt mean people arent interested...

Also, bear in mind 10 of those 30 views will be me editing my own posts. Please don't diss people when they haven't even done anything. I guarantee you'll get a response if and when you finish your Shadow jet.

Sgt. Savage? Don't know them, do you have a link?

"you guys suck"
Great way to boost interest in your stuff.
I think TKW hit the point on the head. I'll be honest I really like what you're doing with the Starfighter, but I don't know who any of these GI Joe characters are. For me this hobby is about the toys from my youth, the customs are great, but I'm sorry I don't personally like articulated figures, they were (for me) when AF went wrong!
There's nothing wrong with enthusiasm, but berating people into commenting doesn't work.
(although in this case, it did ;) )

Incidentaly very nice paint job on your pilot.

my only comment was going to be the Incision typo, but since the Baron pointed it out, it felt redundant.
