Boxed Cardboard HQ

Post by LDR »

I have a loose version of the cardboard HQ, which i've had since a child. However i am interested in getting a boxed version.

Does anyone know where i can buy one, and how much i should expect to pay?

Any ideas on value?

Thanks!

Difficult to come by Lewis - especially in good condition. And the price will reflect that if you do manage to find one I'd expect.

Thanks for that.

Do you think its likely to cost over £200? For say a good quality boxed one?

No, nowhere near that.

I'd guess (and it is only a guess) that if you were to find a good one with the contents sealed you'd be looking at over £100 but less than £200. Just my guess, for what it's worth, but prices are going a bit daft at the moment.

Boxed items of this sort are too big for a lot of collectors tastes I'd think. I certainly find myself falling into that category - I draw the line at boxed vehicles, and my main focus is carded figs.

The only pics of one of that quality I've ever seen belongs to another member here - never seen a really good boxed one sell on Ebay.

Not sure if that helps at all?

Thanks Steve, thats a great help.

Funny you mention collecting boxed items, its something i've been thinking about lately. Collecting vehicles and bigger items does take up a huge amount of space, and even though i have been buying them up if i see them, i still havent really decided whether to just stick with figures.

Even figures take up alot of space!

thanks for the help

Lewis,

French Red Laser picked one up from ebay last year for round about £100. He had pictures of it on here somewhere, I'll have a look and paste the link in.
When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?

That French Red Laser thread was lost in the crash, unfortunately. I've PM'd him several times requesting him to repost the pics but unfortunately I don't think he understood what I was asking. Did anybody manage to save those pics?
