©1986 American G.I.Joe Trading Cards
I don’t know how many people know of these but there was a series of G.I.Joe Trading Cards released in America in 1986.
There was also a similar series of Transformer cards released at the same time.
I’ve had two of the G.I.Joe cards for a while & I recently bought a few more so I thought I’d mention them here.
I hope the information & pictures are of use.

DETAILS
The cards are the usual size 2½ by 3½ inches (64 by 89 mm) but with rounded corners like playing cards.
Some of the cards featured artwork from the Toyline & some pictures from the G.I.Joe cartoon.
According to a letter from Jeff Smith of Manhattan Kansas in the long defunct American magazine “Collectible Toys & Values” there were 192 card. They originally cost $0.69 & came in small Blister Packs of eight Cards & were advertised as including a Sticker though he never found one.

He also wrote that the Cards broke down into sections:
#1–30 were artwork of G.I.Joe characters
#31–65 were artwork of G.I.Joe vehicles weapons etc.
#66–95 were pictures from the G.I.Joe cartoon
#96 was a Checklist of the G.I.Joe cards
#97–113 were artwork of Cobra characters
#114–126 were artwork of Cobra vehicles weapons etc.
#127–191 were pictures from the G.I.Joe cartoon
#192 was a Checklist of the Cobra cards

The cards I have are:

I have maybe 6 of these. I love them, but they are either really hard to find or really expensive when you do...
