I've seen it all now! An AFA graded Skeletron!
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ACTION-FORCE-PALI ... 286.c0.m14

I wonder how much that will go for!?

Also this one. Is it really that expensive to post from Ireland?

When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?

i would bid it up to 8 or 9 quid !

but if I won he would be quickly removed from the case !

I have never understood this grading foolishness, how can you play with a figure in a case ?

whats the point ? it costs a fortune to grade a figure and makes him no fun at all !

Not really that expensive to post.
New seller just covering his back on the postage costs.
Might put a few people off though.

I reckon the skeletron will hit around £17.00

The roboskull is being sold by a new seller so he may not be sure on the postage.
I doubt it is anywhere near that, although it goes up steeply sending international over 2kg in any country but surely a roboskull boxed isn't over 2kg.

I am not going to my mum's tonight to find out.

I think it is because he is new because to post to me in Ireland is only 10e cheaper and it does not cost 25e to post that in Ireland.

keeping a loose figure in a case is pointless, though I can understand why you would want to keep carded figures sealed. AFA grading gives the price a completely disproportionate rise in price to one of similar quality but ungraded.

Also I don't see the point in keeping vehicles MISB, at least with figures you can see them, but with the majority of vehicles you might as well just have the empty box sitting there.

I'd be quite surprised if the noob gets any bids, no way does it even cost half that, not that I disagree with a seller putting as much of the value of his goods into postage, something that ebay are trying to cut out for obvious reasons.

I'd reckon I could fly to Cork and pick it up for that amount! Perhaps have a few swift Murphys whilst over there too. It'd be rude not to.

Re the AFA Skeletron, I've ranted elsewhere, so I'll not again here, but it gives me a great idea - get a Kraken graded, then fill the case with water, freeze it, and hey presto! An instant "Karaken Frozen in Ice" Diorama! For a few hours at least, until it melted!

I'll get me coat.....
