Orange Boot Variant!

I was lucky enough to pick this up last week which - as far as I am aware - is pretty rare.

MOC Orange Boot variant Space Pilot.

If I'm wrong and there's boxes of them out there please correct me, but its the first that I've ever seen in person.

Only paid £15 for it, too which wasn't bad I think.

Yeah, the actual figure itself isn't very rare - I think I have 4 aswell.

The orange boot version 'should' have been the pilot that came in the box with the cosmic cruiser vehicle [and possibly the Triad? - not sure on that one].

The moc orange boot, though, is a factory error as it should be a blue-booted fella, hence me thinking that its fairly scarce.

That interesting. So maybe, these 'factory errors' were packaged quite often back in the day...

I think Paul is correct. I have a few MOC Space Pilots all with Blue boots (as are most of my loose ones). The Orange boot one was Moondancer with the triad (not sure about the Cosmic Cruiser).

I've only ever seen one other MOC one, and I bought it! And that's even allowing for watching Ebay pretty regularly. I have a good few loose, but it quite bizarrely seems that MOC's rarely come along. At £15 it's quite a bargain in my books!
