Bought some acrylic cases for my moc figures.

At £8.50 per case its slightly ironic in that the display case costs more than what it is displaying!

Still, they look pretty nice I think

The cases are from Oscar Didier - in the star wars world Oscar rocks!

Everybody buys from him as his prices are cheapest and he's a really decent fella!

I orderred 24 from him and they arrived 11 days later - to the UK from Mecchhh-ico!

Packaged to withstand an Al-quaeda attack. Not a blemish on them and the boxes were massive!

Now this post has depressed me - I thought I had a full set of carded series 2 figs other than an Orange booted Space Commander (which I'm not sure exists?) only to find they did some carded Skeletrons! My bagged one now seems strangley inadequate! Back to scouring Ebay.... (excellent cases by the way - look similar to the AFA ones?)

Steve, the carded Skeletron is a custom that I made.

The figure was only available by collecting tokens.

If you've a mint in sealed bag one, then that's about as cool as it goes!

Just wanted to clear that up for you.

Thank God for that! I was envisaging late night scouring of Ebay out of site of the missus, with the window swiftly minimised when she came in the room.... (and I am still on about the Skeletron!).

I always thought that to be the case, but then doubted myself with your picture, and thought it might've been like the Krakens that showed up for sale carded. (excellent idea Palitoy - give them away, and then try to sell the one's you have left that you couldn't give away!????. Can only imagine the Board meeting proposing that one was last on the agenda at a 5.30 meeting on a Friday.)

I thought I had a full set of carded series 2 figs

SteveD, does that mean you have one of the holy grails? - the carded minesweeper???? Where/How did you get that? And if you don't mind mean asking, how much did it set you back?

Also, the orange-booted space pilot DOES exist moc. [forum member] 'newswseller' told me that he had one, but I guess its long since been sold.

I have indeed - just been taking some snapshots and lovingly caressing some of my figs as I moved them from under the bed to the loft - if someone could give me an idea how to post pics here I have a few shots to add of part of the collection?

Acquired it (from a guy I believe to be a member on here) a few years back, after I bought a few items off him on Ebay, and he told me he was selling up. Not sure if he ever did as I never saw any of his other items for sale on the 'Bay, but I quickly got him to sell me his Rotte Schatten and Orange booted Pilot too. Was feeling a bit flush at the time, so was going a bit crazy with the spending. Paid not far off two hundred quid for Minesweeper. Then my car broke the week after and I had to get the train to work til pay day!

Unless the missus asks that is, and then it was "about a tenner"....
